This notice explains how information is handled when you visit Tranquilla Wellness, the wellness publication of Tranquilla Spa, or use this website’s enquiry, newsletter and review features. For privacy questions or requests, contact info@tranquillaspa.net or use our contact page.

Information you choose to provide

Our contact form requests your email address and subject and also offers fields for your name, company, phone number and message. We use the details you submit to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, discuss a requested service or appointment. Only provide information needed for your request.

If you subscribe to the wellness newsletter, your email address and subscription preferences are used to send the updates you requested and administer your subscription. You can unsubscribe using the link in a newsletter or contact us to request removal. Delivery services may generate delivery, opening or link-interaction information depending on the mailing features in use.

If you submit a review or comment where that feature is available, your submitted text and display name may appear publicly. Contact and technical details associated with a submission may be used for administration, moderation and spam prevention. Do not include private information in public submissions.

Technical information and cookies

Visiting the website involves exchanging technical information with its hosting and service providers. This can include your IP address, requested page, browser and device details, request time, referral information and security-related events. This information supports page delivery, troubleshooting, reliability and protection against abuse.

Cookies and similar browser storage can support login sessions, preferences and other site functions. Analytics and advertising technologies can also use cookies or identifiers to measure visits and deliver or measure advertisements. Different technologies have different lifetimes; your browser controls allow you to inspect, block or delete cookies. Blocking cookies may affect some features.

Google Analytics and advertising

Google Analytics is connected through Site Kit to help us understand visits and improve our content. When Google services load, your device can send information such as the page address, IP address and device or browser details to Google. Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.

The website is being prepared for Google AdSense. Where advertisements are served, Google and other advertising providers may use cookies to select ads based on previous visits to this website or other websites. Google advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to deliver personalized ads where permitted by your choices and the applicable requirements. Advertising technology can also be used for ad measurement and fraud prevention.

You can manage Google ad personalization through Google Ad Settings. Participating third-party advertising choices are also available through YourAdChoices. Turning off personalization does not necessarily stop all advertisements or all processing needed to deliver and measure them.

Your consent choices

Where a consent message is displayed, use its consent, do-not-consent and manage-options controls to make your choice. The message provides details of the participating providers, purposes and available controls. Use the site’s privacy or cookie settings link, where available, to revisit your choice. Browser controls and the Google settings linked above provide additional options; they do not replace the website’s consent controls.

We have configured Google’s European consent message for this website. When the message is available, you can consent, decline, or manage individual choices. To revisit your decision, use the “Privacy and cookie settings” link at the bottom of the site when displayed. Availability depends on your region and Google’s service delivery; AdSense approval is a separate process. If you cannot find a privacy control, contact us using the details above. Please do not send sensitive information with your request.

Service providers and external content

Providers supporting the site include hosting, email delivery, WordPress website administration, backups, security and the Google services described above. The website uses Hostinger hosting and WordPress plugins for forms, newsletters and reviews. Review protection is configured to use Cloudflare Turnstile, which may process browser and device signals when a protected feature is used.

See Hostinger’s privacy notice and Cloudflare’s privacy notice for their practices. External images, fonts, videos, maps or other embedded content, where present, can send technical information to their providers when loaded. Links to other websites are governed by those websites’ policies.

Purposes, retention and international processing

Information is used to answer requests, provide requested updates or services, operate and secure the site, understand readership and support advertising. Where applicable data-protection law requires a legal basis, relevant bases include consent for optional marketing or tracking, steps connected with a service you request, legal obligations, and legitimate interests in responding to enquiries and protecting the site. The basis depends on the particular use; contact us for details about your information.

Retention depends on why information was collected, whether a request or subscription remains active, security and dispute-resolution needs, and any applicable record-keeping obligation. Subscription suppression information may be needed to respect an unsubscribe request. Backups and service-provider records can have separate retention cycles. You may ask us about retention or deletion of your specific information.

Hosting and other providers may process information outside your country. The providers’ notices describe their processing locations and transfer arrangements. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your request.

Privacy requests and objections

Depending on the law that applies, you may have rights to access, correct or delete information, restrict its use, request portability, object to processing, or withdraw consent. You can object to direct marketing and unsubscribe at any time. Withdrawing consent does not change the lawfulness of earlier processing. Some requests are subject to exceptions or identity verification.

Send requests to info@tranquillaspa.net, describing the information or interaction concerned. You may also complain to the relevant data-protection authority. For UK visitors, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Health information and children

This is a general-information wellness website, not a secure channel for medical records or emergency care. Do not submit diagnoses, medical records, identity documents or payment-card information in ordinary enquiry forms, reviews or comments. The newsletter and enquiry features are intended for adults. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so the submission can be reviewed.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated as website features, providers or requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Please review it before providing information or using a new feature.
